AUSTAR is the leading subscription television provider in regional and rural Australia, offering primarily digital satellite services to customers. AUSTAR also offers dial-up internet and mobile phone services. AUSTAR is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange ('AUN').

AUSTAR owns 50% of XYZ Networks in a joint venture with FOXTEL. XYZ Networks is the exclusive owner and/or distributor of 11 channels to the AUSTAR and FOXTEL video subscribers.
