Our approach

Our products and services connect people to the digital world, driving enormous social benefits. Our customers use our products to communicate, interact, be entertained, seek information, share content and help them understand the world around them. These activities generate a responsibility to understand the impacts, both positive and negative, that our products have on the communities in which we operate, and to act accordingly.

As a result, our corporate responsibility (CR) strategy focuses on promoting ‘digital confidence’, which is the cornerstone of our CR strategy and it is what our stakeholders have told us is most important to them.

For Liberty Global, digital confidence consists of three areas: including everyone in the digital world, protecting minors as they use our services and ensuring the privacy and security of our customers. These three areas form the core of our CR strategy.

We also recognize that we have responsibilities in other important areas – we need to manage our environmental impacts effectively, treat our employees well, build a responsible supply chain, and sell and market our products responsibly. Therefore, we are also actively managing these areas as part of Liberty Global’s overall CR strategy.
