Austria
UPC Austria is the largest cable television operator in Austria. UPC Austria provides analog & digital cable video, broadband internet, and traditional & digital telephony services (VoIP) to 721,000 customers as of September 30, 2009. UPC Austria also offers mobile telephony as part of a bundle and DSL services in the majority of the country. In addition, UPC Austria offers a range of voice, data, lease line, and asymmetric digital subscriber lines, or “ADSL”, services to business customers throughout Austria.

UPC Austria’s customers are primarily located in the capital city of Vienna, three other regional capitals and smaller cities, including Graz, Klagenfurt, Innsbruck, Wiener Neustadt, and Baden. UPC Austria’s network is entirely upgraded to two-way capability, with approximately 90% of its cable homes passed served by a network with a bandwidth of at least 860 MHz.
Video
UPC Austria offers analog and digital video services. The average analog cable subscriber receives a package of 38 channels, mostly in German language, and over 30 radio channels. UPC Austria’s digital cable service offers over 90 video channels and over 70 radio channels (including the channels in its analog package). Through its digital service, UPC Austria also offers additional premium programming, an electronic program guide, interactive services, as well as near video on demand services (VOD), DVR & HD-DVR time-shifting capability, including HD television channels.

Internet
UPC Austria’s broadband internet service offers multiple tiers of broadband internet service. Download speeds range from 2 Mbps to 100 Mbps. UPC Austria launched UPC Fiber Power in June 2009, an ultra high-speed internet service with download speeds of up to 100+ Mbps, utilizing the EuroDOCSIS 3.0 platform. UPC Austria also offers several internet products based on DSL technology to both private and business customers.

UPC Austria also offers an array of value-added internet services, including wireless modems, on-line storage, and anti-virus & spam protection.

Voice
UPC Austria provides fixed-line voice with traditional circuit-switched telephony, as well as feature-rich digital telephony via VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Digital voice services are also provided to DSL customers. UPC Austria also offers a bundle of fixed line and mobile voice services in a co-branding arrangement with Orange Austria Telecommunications, GmbH.
