Czech Republic
UPC Czech Republic (UPC Czech) is the largest cable television operator in the Czech Republic. UPC Czech provides analog and digital video, broadband internet, and digital voice services to 768,000 customers as of June 30, 2010.

UPC Czech’s customers are located in cities and towns throughout the country, including the capital city of Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pilsen, and Northern Bohemia. Its networks are 92% upgraded to two-way capability, with 92% of its homes passed served by a network with a bandwidth of at least 860 MHz.

UPC Czech also offers business customers located in its service areas a variety of internet and telephony packages, managed leased lines, and virtual private network services.

Video
UPC Czech offers analog and digital video services. An analog cable subscriber may receive up to 41 channels and 25 radio channels, as well as two premium channels. UPC Czech’s digital cable services offers up to 95 channels, including HD programming, as well as multiple premium services, and 28 radio channels. Through its digital service, UPC Czech offers customers DVR time-shifting capabilities and HD programming.

UPC Czech offers a range of broadband internet tiers with download speeds ranging from 10 Mbps up to 100 Mbps, with pricing according to package and speed. In September 2009, UPC Czech launched UPC Fiber Power, its next-generation broadband internet service with download speeds up to 100+ Mbps, utilizing EuroDOCSIS 3.0 technology.

UPC Czech offers feature-rich digital telephony services through VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). The VoIP services are available to over 90% of its homes passed.
